Packing Up!

Even with the falling snow today, DH and I started to dig out the RV out of the snow and loading it up with stuff we will need for our three-month trip down South. Even though it was snowing, the temperature was not bad and so it was not unpleasant. I packed up most of the food that could freeze in big bins and will load those up on the morning we leave. Later in the week, the weather is forecasted to be sunny with cloudy periods and therefore, we hope to leave during that break from snow.

DH had to take half the day to clean the snow out of the driveways. He not only does ours but also does a couple of our neighbours as well. Since the first of December, we have had enough snow that he is already tired of removing snow.

Well, folks, I don't know when I will get a chance to blog again. It will all depend on when and where we will be able to get WIFI. Some RV parks have it and some don't. We are also planning several stops on the way down but don't have any particular schedule.

Until we are able to blog again, enjoy life and have a Happy New Year!

Winter in Florida! What luxury! If I lived further north, I would be a 'snow bird' too. Actually, I do go to Florida for a visit most every winter. My brother and sister-in-law are down there from November until April and always welcome company.

Hope your trip is uneventful and that you arrive safely and not too tired from the long drive.

Sniff! I can't believe you are going soon.... And without me too :o(

I do hope you and Dad have a safe trip down and that you can get away when there is a break in the snow. I bet it will be nice not to see the white stuff for three months ;o)

Happy New Year!
