A Most Beautiful Day

We are having a most beautiful day weatherwise. The sun is shining and so far, the temperatures are just right.

Last Fall, we were in Alberta and I came across a two-storey quilting shop in Camden that had materials everywhere you looked. Oh, heavens here I come. Not that I needed anymore materials but what the heck, I just had to go in. Among the things I found was a ragtime quilt that had a full size snowman on the front of the quilt and the back of the quilt was his back. I just loved it but I had also promised myself that I was not going to make another ragtime quilt - 8 done so far. So I left the pattern there. After I got home in New Brunswick, I was sorry I had not picked it up and growled about it. At Christmas, my DD gave me the pattern as a gift. So I began frantically searching for proper materials. I now have all the materials and have even begun to cut it out. With the Summer weather plus the fact that we are in the renovation mode in our house, I have had to put it down for a while. Can hardly wait to get back at it.

Yesterday, we were pleased to have a nice visit from our DD, DSIL and our granddog, Brie. Brie is such a sweet little dog. For those of you who don't know, Brie had to be operated on her back, but she is now walking again - even if she is a bit like a drunken sailor. We have seen a big improvement in her walking in the last couple of weeks.

Have a Great Day!

Hi!
Thanks for visiting my blog! Hope you're enjoying your blogging experience so far. Can't wait to see some of your quilts and Swedish weaving, especially. I don't think I'm familiar with that.
